Vehicle scanners with AI damage detection – hardware, software and service

Hardware & Software

Our scanners stand out for how modular they are. The Quick-Check can be extended with add-on modules that can be retrofitted at any time. It also comes in several sizes, so vans, motorhomes and trucks can be scanned as well. Our partnership with MMV means our customers can lease a scanner instead of buying it.

HARDWARE

One scanner, one principle: miss nothing. The Quick-Check captures every vehicle from the same angles as it drives through, no matter who operates it. Size and add-on modules follow from which vehicles you capture and how close the inspection needs to be.

Quick-Check

Our Quick-Check scanner has been in production for over 10 years and is now in its third generation, and first-generation units are still in service today. What sets the Quick-Check apart is its patented moving camera column. It gives customers two decisive advantages:

  1. No matter how fast a customer drives through the scanner, it always takes the same number of images from the same angles.
  2. During idle periods the camera column rotates into a protected position that shields the cameras from rain, snow and sand.

TwoTronic scanners are in use indoors and outdoors from Egypt to Sweden. Dedicated configuration options let the scanner hardware be matched to the climate at the site.

Every vehicle type

TwoTronic scanners come in several variants and capture every vehicle type from small to large, with or without a roof. The system adapts flexibly to your requirements and business case.

Lidar sensor

Lidar sensor of the vehicle scanner

The lidar sensor triggers the cameras in step with the drive-through speed. It also controls the traffic light system that regulates the flow of vehicles at the site.

4K high-performance cameras

The ultra-high-resolution 4K cameras are the key to outstanding image quality. To reach that quality consistently, sensors, cameras and optics are matched to one another.

Underbody images

TwoTronic underbody cameras deliver strikingly clear images that allow a precise inspection of the vehicle. In many cases they make lifting the vehicle unnecessary.

Tread depth measurement

Automated tire tread depth measurement removes the slow and imprecise manual measuring process. The results feed straight into your workshop processes.

SOFTWARE

Every drive-through produces images, measurements and a damage assessment. What becomes of them is up to the software: it assigns the data to the vehicle, makes it searchable and delivers it where your processes need it.

To get the most out of your business case, the scan results need to fit into your processes.

There are two ways to do that:

  1. You integrate the scanner data into your own software systems using our interface architecture.
  2. You use one of the front-end solutions we offer.

Like our scanners, the software solutions we offer are modular and adapt to your use cases:

  1. Document the transfer of risk with a photographic record of the vehicle condition.
Search by VIN, license plate or job number, all read by our cameras.
Besides license plates they also read barcodes and QR codes, which makes them usable on vehicles that are not yet registered.
  2. Sell more tires with our tire tool and the automatic wheel alignment indicator.
  3. Have damaged wheel rims flagged automatically by our rim AI (beta).
  4. Have body damage flagged automatically by our body check AI (beta).
  5. Generate condition reports and appraisals.
  6. Feed the scan results into your day-to-day processes and software landscape.

SERVICE

Keeping the systems running reliably matters a great deal to our customers. Our systems are extremely dependable and we design them for easy servicing and repair from the outset, but they still need regular cleaning and maintenance. That is why we offer maintenance contracts: we keep the scanner hardware in shape and make sure the software inside the scanner stays up to date. As part of a maintenance contract, customers also get better SLAs and express spare parts supply.
