TwoTronic and Mercedes-Benz enter a partnership for automated vehicle condition capture and damage detection.<\/p>\n

Ellgau, January 2025 – TwoTronic GmbH and Mercedes-Benz are starting a worldwide partnership in digital vehicle condition and damage detection. The trade magazine „Autohaus“ already covered it in its article „Scanner für den Stern“ (read the article at AUTOHAUS<\/a>, in German).<\/p>\n

Within this collaboration TwoTronic acts as the technology partner for digital vehicle condition and damage detection. At its core are TwoTronic’s state-of-the-art scanner solutions. The scanners work both indoors and outdoors and integrate seamlessly into the global Mercedes-Benz service network.<\/p>\n

„Our partnership with Mercedes-Benz marks an important milestone for TwoTronic and underlines what our scanner technology can do. Through close integration into the Mercedes-Benz network we can make our products available worldwide and help workshops digitalise their processes and work more efficiently,“ says Philip Junge, CCO of TwoTronic.<\/p>\n

A key element of the partnership is a new module for automated glass damage detection. Using patented detection technology, the module identifies glass damage precisely and reliably, outdoors as well. It was optimised specifically for the requirements of Mercedes-Benz and is available exclusively in Mercedes-Benz workshops.<\/p>\n

The collaboration was officially launched at the Mercedes-Benz European Service Summit, where the TwoTronic team presented the new glass damage detection live to representatives of the European Mercedes-Benz dealers.<\/p>\n

The whole TwoTronic team is looking forward to working closely with Mercedes-Benz and to the next steps of this partnership.
